Rondout Valley in N.Y. is proof that a good manager makes all the difference in a campground. The longtime manager retired a year ago and his replacement, for lack of a better word, is awful.
In a nutshell, we spent the first 3wks of this summer there and not once did we see him on grounds. We did see golfcarts riding around, 2 men in each, but never the manager. His wife drives around, but never the manager.
We don't know who to go to or what to do. We tried writing the company but we won't sign our names because we still camp there and we've heard the manager will make it uncomfortable if he finds out we have complained.
Someone, please tell the higher-ups to come to the park and check out what their lazy, useless manager is doing, or not doing here. This was a great place, but it's going downhill fast.

Don't go to Rondout Valley in New York. It's a dump.

We are Elite members and are full-timers. I don't know what your criteria is for creating a link to an idividual park so we can review the "real scoop" of the park. We have stayed or visited several of the parks. If you could use our input of these parks, we would like to help. Please contact me and let me know if you have any specific criteria or format you want followed.
Regards. John Busch
