Project: Pink Gift Tote
Fabric: 1/2 yard of 100% cotton in patterned and mauve
Tools: fabric, thread, needle and hands (yes I hand sewed another... I really like sewing by hand even though I bought that fancy machine)
Start Date: Not sure but sometime at the end of October
Finish Date: Nov 15, 2006
Comments: I really love hem tape! This is the first time that I used hem tape and I tell you it will not be the last. Not only did it add character and strength to the handle area of the bag it covered up my messy edges. Although I started off trying to make the bag on my machine I ended up doing the entire bag by hand, just cannot get into the machine.

How cute and what a great idea!! I like to wrap gifts in something that can be used later, instead of just in pretty paper that gets thrown away.

That's a really pretty tote bag. The hem tape worked really well with it.
We bought that camera for my son a couple years ago. He loves it and it takes great pictures.
