Well it is that time of year again when the knitters like to plan ahead for holiday gifts(well maybe some of the really good ones have already begun their projects). Wow! You are ambitious!
I've got 6 bibs I need to make for expectant friends, both my kids need sweaters, and I want to knit a couple of scarves for my kids teachers.
I have not even begun to think about holiday knitting yet--I may make some socks for my nephews. You're smart by getting a head start and you have a really ambitious list--have fun!
I am so excited about the KTC blanket!!
I had hoped to finish all my UFOs for the UFO August KAL, but I have embarked on charity knitting. I'm knitting socks for soldiers, mittens for kids in South Dakota, and hope to knit a vest for Afghans for Afghans. And of course, some squares for our KTC afghan.
The ladies of my church are making squares for blankets for elder people in need. I'm coordinating and putting them together. I'm also going to make scarfs, mittens and hats for our church to give to the needy. Our church is right in a very run down area of town, and we are trying to help as much as we can. You just reminded me I need to get going on them!!!! THANKS!
I just love all your projects!
I am almost ready to mail you my ktc fall blanket strips.
Could you email me your address again, so I can get them in the mail soon!
