Garden Goodies

There have been some good things happening in my garden since my last pictures. Some of my plants are actually producing! Well actually only two plants are almost ready to eat. I started off with the hopes of having tomatoes, red bell peppers, green bell peppers, blueberries, strawberries and cucumbers. What I will soon have are.... DVC03992 Strawberries: Look at that! They are almost ready to eat, exciting isn't it. DVC03991 Green Bell Peppers: Watching green bell peppers grow is the neatest thing. We have two for sure and there are 4 more blooms that are keeping us hopeful of 4 more peppers. DVC03994 Zen Garden: We found the statute at Target recently on clearance for $20 so my husband built a neat planter at the front of the house. The greenhouse was too hot for the blueberry bushes so we moved them out to the planter. Next year I plan on having it full of wildflowers. and DVC03996 Peaches: Okay so it is not a garden goody but I had to share about this neat little guy we picked up from the city recently. This little bird will sing sitting on the dock of the bay, tell jokes and mimic what you say as well as dance and spin on his perch. He can be turned on manually or turned to sensor. We originally thought we could put him out on the porch to scare off our newest bear visitor (that's right the bears are back) but he is just too much fun so we made room for him on the books of the moment shelf.

OH HOW FUN!!!! I love seeing all the vegetables grow!! The strawberries are going to be delicious!! I've got a bunch of peppers too - just waiting for them to finish growing and then turn yellow and red. I love the Zen Garden planter and Peaches is hysterical!!

Mmmmm...Strawberries are my absolute favorite food! I love green peppers, too. They both look very yummy.

Your strawberries look delicious. Almost there! Our green peppers came out so sweet, even before they went to red.

Of course Peaches belongs in a garden post! Peaches. Garden. A natural. ;)
