Addicted to groups...

I have so many KALs/CALs that I have joined and sometimes I forget I joined them until I look at my sidebar and there is a curious little button and then I realize oh my I need to make that project. So in an effort to remember what I joined and what I wanted to make I am going to try once a week to update myself on what is going on. Okay here we go... Stash Along: Crochet Bear Body This little guy is part of my stash along project list. He is made out of Red Heart Classic "Buff." He still needs stuffing and a head. Peaceful Palms and What's Your Skein: Wrist Warmer Left Wrist Warmer Right Made on US 11 needles in Clearwater Jiffy (one skein) in K2 P1 rib. This is my project for the Peaceful palms KAL and What's Your Skein. It also happens to be the first thing I finished in 2006. (Sorry about the bad pictures it was early in the morning and it is hard to take pictures of my own hands :)) Based on the patten Warm Wristlets. The above is what I have going right now and here is what is to come... Knit the Classics: This month we are reading Mrs. Dalloway and many are incorporating flowers into their projects for this book. I plan on making a floral themed bookmark and reading journal sweater. There are so many exciting things going on at KTC if you are a member and have not been around for a while or have not yet joined, head on over. We have swaps, contests and we are on our way to merchandise! 25 Things for Charity: I have a blanket and a scarf on the needles towards my 25 things for 2006. Amigurumi Along: Some more critters. Month of Softies: Some more softies. Feet Need Socks: Finish up my purple and watercolors crochet socks. 63 squares: I am going to start this blanket and finish it this year! Cover your Ankles: I plan on making Aspen Leg warmers in Woolease Navy Fleck. Another Weasley: Well I was working on my scarp blanket for WTW I found balls of Hunter Green and a really light gray and I thought they looked alot like Slythein colors so I thought I would make myself a book scarf. Cover Your Head: I have one more hat trick on my needles at least. Tote Along: I want to finish my tote before school starts. Whew! I think that is all the groups I belong to?! Well seeing as how I have a large project list and a large reading list I am off... Happy Crafting Everyone! Amanda

And I was just thinking that I had a lot of knitting groups going on . . . but I like the idea of the weekly updates for all the KALs. Maybe next week . . .

You're so good to give weekly updates! I really need to start doing that. And, I'm so with you on the status of so many WIPs ... who the heck wants those little balls to get lonely??
